As a wife, and mother,Charesse Roberts, a native

of Philadelphia, began writing at the age

of 11 during what started out as a school

assignment. While continuing to uplift, and inspire Charesse

strives to be a beacon of light within her community and her

generation absorbing unwavering faith through values from her

family and African American culture. While meeting her readers

where they are, her goals are education and empowerment on
