Interesting topic. It would've been nice to know more perhaps in a longer novel. It seemed like the author kept repeating things over and over and coming up with more twists and turns for the characters. The end felt rushed while the whole book dragged along. I also got a very vague picture of the cultures in this book. When I heard this this book focuses on voodoo in New Orleans I thought "finally some history and culture". Guess not. Happy Reading!
