Three-Cornered Sun

“Three-cornered sun…” Josephine mused as she looked at Aguinaldo’s sketch.
“Yes. The national flag has a three-cornered sun! There is a star on each corner of the triangle,” Marcela said.
“What do the three stars represent?” Delfina asked.
“The three stars represent Luzon, Panay Island for the Visayas, and then Mindanao, the three principal islands of the Philippines,” Marcela replied.
