Publisher Description
HOW MUCH IS LIFE TRULY WORTH?Kusunoki used to believe he was destined for great things. Ostracized as a child, he held on to a belief that a good life was waiting for him in the years ahead. Now approaching the age of twenty, he’s a completely mediocre college student with no motivation, no dreams, and no money. After learning he can sell his remaining years—and just how little they’re worth—he chooses to divest himself of all but his last three months. Has Kusunoki truly destroyed his last chance to find happiness…or has he somehow found it?
Customer Reviews
Deeply melancholic and grounding.
This is a profound book in the sense that it can take you to the depths of uncomfortable pain of losing all that you are just to bring you immense comfort in that same thing. I am beyond grateful that this was recommended to me and I am so thankful that I had the honor of reading this beautifully rich and painful story.
Hopelessly alluring
Sum up this book quite well.
Deserves more recognition
Concept and plot is just perfect and unique, was the first book that got me into light novels and years later after rereading it again as an experienced reader this book still holds up, I love it. Although not perfect, there’s times where you feel the plot starts to chop up to move onto the next scene which can feel, I wouldn’t say rushed, but, wanting more for those scenes. But regardless it has a satisfying ending that keeps you thinking about it days after reading it. Absolutely love it and wish it could be turned into an anime, as mentioned with the title, this book deserves more recognition.
