Dr. Grant Delaney's life is nothing but hook ups and one offs before a mutual friend introduces him to a certain California firefighter. Now, that's all Grant thinks about. After three months of facetiming each other, they decide to meet. Then the man he grows to care about takes off into the night without a word or reason, leaving Grant questioning his own worth like he has done for most of his life.

Over hearing a conversation between Grant and his friend, Robert Burke assumes the doctor isn't ready to hear the news he's been keeping for three months.
