Whether you are currently in the middle of a difficult life situation or not, one thing is certain, at some point you will be. And when you are, having read this book, you will know that you too can not only survive the situation but you can thrive in the thick of it. Jen's brutally honest, and completely transparent sharing of her personal life crisis will encourage you and demonstrate that no matter what life throws at you, there is hope. I could not put this book down! To say it is full of hope and encouragement is an understatement! The author made this beautiful statement, “Hope always rises. And when perspective shows up, it’s a beautiful thing.” This book does just that. It opens up the doors to healthy, positive and Godly perspective and in turn, allows hope to rise to new heights. Whether you're a mom or want to be one someday, a wife or still a single lady waiting, whether you're in the storms of life now or see them on the horizon, this book is a must read!
Phenomenal.
This book rocked me to my core. I rarely have found a book (other than the Bible) that has challenged, encouraged, and caused me to seek to thrive in my life than this. Eloquence, hard truth, graced with humor and reality caused me to start reading this morning and not stop until I finished. I expected a book on how to deal with trials regarding kids, but it was so beyond that. Whether you're a parent or not Jen Jones speaks what so few believers do, the truth of believing and thriving when life isn't what you expected it to be. I read it through tears of laughter, tears of empathy, and I recommend it from a heart whose scars, though still there, are just a little better healed because of the balm of the words of a woman who was willing to be poured out and share her journey with others.
