Through an Artist's Eyes

This is not another travel book, but my attempt to show how a visual artist sees beauty and translates that into art. I believe most of us see the beauty in nature. However, the way you and I see beauty is not the way a visual artist sees beauty. You’ll follow along as I chauffeur my wife and artist, Jessie Krause, on a trip through Southwest England. An artistic trip inspired by Thomas Hardy, Jane Austen, and Doc Martin. You’ll see both pictures and artwork from Jessie. By seeing both the landscape and the finished art, I am hopefully you’ll come to better understand the artistic process.
