Through the Gates

When 21-year-old Cree Holman is released from prison, she must rely on her estranged family to assist her transition back into society. With the odds seeming to be against her at every corner she turns, she must face her past to confront her future before the lives of those she loves is lost. She realizes as time passes, the judge who convicted her, the family members who betrayed her, and the one man who loves her contribute to the things that are happening in her life in ways that she can’t imagine. The real questions are, is blood thicker than water, or are people who barely know you the ones that you can trust the most?
