Claiming her association with the leader of the Fae’s former enemies makes her unfit to govern, factions within the Council plot to remove her from the throne. Will it lead to civil war?
Can Trevor and Jazmine find the Orb of Time, get back to the present, and stop Hordly and his brothers from unleashing an army of nightmarish monsters on humans and Fae alike? Can Aaibhe and her loyal supporters hold the Council together and keep the Fae united against the Unseelie threat?

Through time - whiplash
The book starts out a little clunky. The heroine isn’t consistent. One time she’s smart, the next, she acts stupid. Her slang doesn’t ring true to her character. The romance between her and Trevor feels rushed and unreal. All of a sudden, it actually grabs you into her new world for awhile. Then once again, she’s off being stupid.
The book also ends poorly. It’s definitely a series. It would have been better if at least one of the many perils had been resolved before the final chapter. I didn’t like it much, but I kept hoping it’d get better because the subject was interesting. I finished the book, but I wouldn’t recommend it.
