Very Biblically Based

Dr. McGee does a very good job explaining many parts of the Bible (yes some of his viewpoints are his but the most important are sound. I would recommend this to anybody that desires to know God more as Great addition to the word of God. I have no problem navigating through this at all. I would say user error for the other reviews. God bless

Table of contents is worthless, content is priceless

I have been using the J. Vernon McGee “Thru the Bible” print and e-version for a dozen years. I currently use an iPad and the Apple “Books” app to access it.
The table of contents (index) in the electronic version on the iBooks app was, previously, easy to navigate with the ability to select book of the Bible (Genesis-Revelation) and then chapter within. If you wanted to go to Psalms chapter 100, you could choose Psalms from the index and then choose 100.
Recently, an update to the application and the table of contents was changed to a format that makes it difficult to navigate. Now, If you want to go to a specific chapter in a specific book you can no longer do that. For example, if I want to go to Psalms 100, I can access Psalms from the table of contents and then I must scroll with my finger all the way to 100 (about 500 pages of scrolling). For a 12,504 page book, this is extremely inconvenient.
I am trying to figure out why this change was made and I am asking that it be changed back to the previous format. There is no apparent reason a change was made to the index.
I have contacted Apple and they say they do not make these changes, rather it is the publisher. I have also contacted Thomas Nelson and they claim no responsibility as well. I was told by Thru the Bible to contact HarperCollins. They also claim no responsibility for the change. So, no one knows who made the changes. I guess it must be satan. Who else would make accessing Gods word more difficult?
I don’t want to give this a one star rating because the content is a 5. But, the ability to access it properly is a 1.

Genesis through Revelation

I am sorry I bought this book it is way to hard to navigate. It is too hard to go from Genesis to another part of the Bible! I love Dr. McGee's work it is just to hard to navigate to use in studying the bible. I probably should have bought thru the Bible.
