Thunder in the Mountain

This book is a collection of stories about people, places and grouse dogs. Many of the tales are from a hunting journal that has been kept over a life time. These are simple stories told not by an avid writer but by an avid hunter who finds great joy and pleasure wondering the secret haunts of the great majestic wild ruffed grouse. Many of the tales lead to remembrances of events and the people that were very special in his life. This book is dedicated to the memory of my dad, Charlie L. Brown; my mother, Vira Brown; my mother-n-law, Venlee Bryant(Workman); my son, Kevin Brown; and my brother,Tim Brown. This book is a tribute to those who loved, encouraged and supported me all their lives.
