It all started with a dare...
It all started with a dare and a New Year's office party. They dared a very drunk Vanessa Lyle to kiss the boss, Quinn Alexander. She did and if her fuzzy memory serves, the Ice King, Mr. All work and no play, and Lord Demon, kissed her back. Someone took a video of the kiss and now they have some explaining to do...to his mother!
The professional and personal personas these two show are like night and day. This was quite a welcome surprise because what they show behind closed doors is VERY different than what they show at the office. His family is great! His mother was so terrifically unexpected! You'll be surprised too! She's AWESOME! This is a funny, sexy shifter short and I can't wait to read more from this fantastic author.

Cute story , as long as the cost is low
Excellent quick read!
I was bit skeptical about how this book was going to turn out when I saw how short it was because I thought it was part of a serial and I've always found it super hard to review only a quarter of a story. I have to say though that I was beyond impressed with how this story was able to develop! The pace grew really well, it had a fantastic climactic event, and all of this in not that many pages which made it a breeze to read through. I really liked, Vanessa, the main female character's personality and that she worked at a game development company. My sister who is studying to do the same type of job would probably like this book as much as I did!
If serials were like this I would read them more. I could totally see this being the first part of a set of books where you get to see Vanessa and Quinn's relationship grow. What a great idea that would be! I will defiantly be reading many more books from this author! Excellent job Lizze!
