Timing is Everything

Dan McPherson believed that individuals can and are often in the wrong place at the wrong time or the right place at the wrong time, which was exactly the case when tragedy overwhelmed his life. He would withdraw from friends, associates, and business. His life became one of self-imposed isolation.

Several years passed before an invitation to speak to the International Financial Analyst convention at Long Boat Key, Florida arrived that piqued his interest. What was it about this invitation? What emotion caused his acceptance of this invitation to speak to this particular group? 

Dan didn’t perceive this invitation or his acceptance as having anything to do with timing. His decision was all about Cathy and would prove to him that it could easily have gone wrong if the timing hadn’t been just right.

It was at this meeting that by luck, circumstances, fortuitousness, fate, or timing he met the beautiful Sarah Ann Rafferty. Was it timing that would again have tragedy find its way into Dan’s life?
