Tin Man is the written equivalent of lightning in a bottle. During the course of this brief but intense novel, Sarah Winman takes her protagonists Ellis and Michael on a decades-long journey that includes both ecstatic rapture and unfathomable pain. But their emotional journey never comes off as maudlin or cloying; it feels downright transcendent. Winman's poignant message—that experiencing great love means accepting the risk of great hurt—is as bittersweet and perfect as a goodbye kiss.

This has been my favorite book I’ve read this year!! Don’t know where it came from or how I came across it, but UNBELIEVABLE!! It will easily ascend into my Top 10 fave books of all time!! Beautifully written & I’m hoping the author doesn’t disappoint with future reading, because she blew me away with this one!! Quick & Easy read, you will fall in LOVE with each one of the characters….definitely tugs at the heartstrings!! To sum it up, I literally cried at the end of it, not just because of its beauty, but also because the book ended & I just wanted more!!!

Beautiful
This book was detailed in all the right ways and left to the imagination in all the right ways. A melancholy story about love, friendship, and the blurred lines in between, this story is a haunting recollection of the 1980’s for three people, including the a vision of the AIDS crisis from a very specific lens.
