A second chance full of suspense
I really enjoyed this second chance romance between childhood best friends Garrett and Tina. They knew each other years ago in Scotland but were separated when his mother moved away. Now years later they are reunited and true feelings are revealed but it won’t be an easy road because she’s got someone after her for finding something you shouldn’t have. There’s a break in, mysterious letters, a car chase, and so much more!
I really enjoyed the way the suspense was written into the book. Even a night out with friends wasn’t safe and a trip to the store had her creep-o-meter going off. I actually found my own creep-o-meter going off while reading this as Tina’s trying to figure out who’s after her. Luckily she has Garrett, the boy of her childhood and now man of her dreams, by her side determined to keep her safe. I really liked the characters of Garrett and Tina and that they found each other again. Their friendship was beautiful and their new love is even more so.
