Publisher Description
She thought she'd found the perfect man in her dangerously seductive boss, Eduardo Cruz, but "Get out!" wasn't exactly the morning-after treatment she'd hoped for.
Holding her wilting bouquet, Callie waits for her groom—her best friend, a man she'd never kissed, or even wanted to kiss.
But once the eminently powerful Eduardo knows about the bump concealed under Callie's oversize, secondhand wedding dress, there's no way he's going to let her walk up the aisle with someone else.
Customer Reviews
Male is controlling
The guy won’t let her talk to her family or friends. He’s very controlling and jealous. Borderline abusive and extremely violent. Also, I feel like she had her sister marry her best friend because the story wouldn’t be able to support her being friends with a single guy due to her spouses jealousy.
Restraining order needed
He is creepy and horribly jealous. Weak female lead. What is needed is a restraining order. He comes across as the type whose jealously eventually gets the better of him and then kills her and himself.
I’d give it half a star.
Defeated female lead
Female character just rides the wave of drama from the guy and owns every dysfunctional part of being responsible for her actions and his.
