To the East

A modern twist on classic mythology, "To the East" is the story of Thomas Gaughaby, a man who loves the Sea. Raised on its rocky shores, he's spent nearly as much of his life in a boat as on dry land. While his friends are all thinking about love and marriage, he thinks only of his future empire as captain of his own vessel.

But just beneath the surface is another world, a world of magic and darkness, of giants and goddesses and monsters. When an accident puts Thomas in the path of an ancient grudge, he finds himself face to face with a beautiful woman who lives among the waves. Trapped by a twisted curse, with his whole world turned upside down, Thomas must find the strength to battle his worst nightmares, before he becomes the very monster that threatens to drag him down into the Deep.
