Eventually, Jack's investigation connects with CHIBI, whose identity comes as a shock. Along the way, bad things happen to good people. I am a huge fan of Clancy and have enjoyed the books, but lately, the series is getting ridiculous. This book was pretty slow, lacked a lot of excitement, and was basically a generic book written by the author with Clancy characters forced into it. The days of great plot weaving are gone.
