Classy & Well Written
The life of Toni Tennille, well-written with class and charm. I especially enjoyed the audiobook, read by Toni herself. The book was cowritten with her niece, Caroline. The book touches on her trials and triumphs from her childhood in Montgomery to her music triumphs in California and then the world. It mentions her work and life with Daryl Dragon, 'The Captain', as well as her big band work and the love of music and pets. I enjoyed her candor and found the book sincere and entertaining.

Nice book. Sad to hear that Daryl was so unlovable. I obviously don’t know Toni, but seeing her performing and reading the book made my heart ache and at times cry for her. I’m glad she is finally happy and hopefully at peace with the situation she was put through.
Kept me interested
A very good read. Toni Tennille’s warm good natured character shines through on every page. She was a very strong lady who was, in my opinion, Darryl Dragon’s life line until she realized nothing would ever change this self absorbed man. I just wish she would have had this revelation about him when she were younger. Recommend reading this. Very enjoyable and her good bright vibes come through each page.
