In this young adult autobiography, Tony Hawk shares the stories from his life that have helped him become a skateboarding hero.
Hawk speaks of being a super-competitive 'demon' child who found peace while on a skateboard. Classmates teased him because of his interest in an 'uncool' sport. Instead of retaliating with violence, he practiced even more. With his story, he will inspire a younger generation of fans to stand up for what they believe in and follow their dreams.
Amazing. This book won't let you down.
This is by far the greatest autobiography I have ever read. I am 17 years old, and I have read it maybe 5 or more times since I was 10 or 11. It's really great for all ages, though I do remember that there might have been a little tiny bit of suggestive stuff in it, so I'd recommend it for people 13+.
Phenomenal book though! A++!
Great words about a great guy
This book is a must read for any fan of Tony, skating, or life in general. You will love them so much more after reading this book.
