Madam de Montespan procures an expensive necklace ''Larisse'' from a jeweler Adam. The necklace is followed evil fate. When she returned to Versailles, event start to occur, strange things and accidents. After seven deaths and accidents, the King Louis banishes madam de Montespan back to her estate. The novel, with its story, is located on shaky legs of standard classic, it shows a Gothic-decorum and posses elements of mystery and horror.
