Hotness…just hot….
“Torch” is the third book in Karen Erickson’s “Wildwood” series, and I really enjoyed it. Finally, we get to read about Wren, the little sister to the Gallagher Brothers, who lives in a small town and is not sure what to do with herself. And, we learn more about Tate, the handsome, single firefighter. If you have read the first two books in the series, then you have meet these two characters and have been anticipating this book, like me, from the beginning. Their chemistry is off the charts, and they are hot, sweet, and funny together. I loved the story, but I wanted more (not a complaint about Karen’s storytelling, I just wanted the story to go on). Plus, this story left us with the on-going question about who is setting the fires (I have my theories), so I NEED the next book to be published!!!! I would suggest that a reader start at the beginning of the series - it will make the storylines make more sense.

This is the 3rd book in The Wildwood series. You get pieces of Wren and Tate's banter in the precious book and I couldn't wait to read their story.
Wren Gallagher and Tate Warren definitely have to love/hate relationship down. Tate's great looks and charm (and firefighter uniform) usually go far with the ladies, but Wren won't give him the time of day. She seems to despise him because he's a total player and she wants a real relationship not a fling. But one lonely night at the local bar, Tate runs into Wren and ends up driving her home after she's had one too drinks. Tate can't seem to get her off his mind and when her ex shows up in town, Tate decides he might just want her as his own. But can he convince her that he really wants more when she seems to hate him? There's something different about Wren and he can't let this sassy, beautiful woman get away without a fight.
Of course then arsonist is at it again and when the culprit hits closer to home Tate and the Gallagher brothers work harder to close the case.
This was a sweet, sexy read that ends with a HEA. I can't wait for more in this series!
