Torn Apart

This Poetry Book is a journey through the memories of my life!-From being a young girl and my survival into adult-hood.

My poetry describes the Sexual, Physical and Emotional Abuse which I was subjected to at the hands of those who were supposed to have'Cared' for me.

These poems are not just about what I was subjected to, but also my thoughts, feelings and insecurities and my inability to allow people to get too close or to love and be loved in return.

Writing these poems has helped me to overcome all those obstacles and fears and enabled me to take control of my life and become a respected idividual.
