Retired Navy SEAL and current private-security operative Ian Sawyer had never expected to have a child, much less a wife, but his beautiful Angie has changed all that. Her due date is only days away, and his anticipation outweighs his anxiety, thinking about holding his firstborn.
But as he’s learned the hard way, life throws curveballs at the worst possible moment. A frantic phone call in the middle of the night is the beginning of Ian’s nightmare. He has to wake his brothers and teammates, leave his wife’s side, and fly halfway around the world to save the only other woman who could bring him to his knees—his mother.

What we have all been waiting for!!! Amazing!!! Worth the wait!!!
What would you do if you had to choose between the love of your life and the woman who gave you life? Ian “Boss-man” Sawyer has to make the worst decision of his life and leave his very pregnant Angel to help his mom. And to make things worse, he’s running against the clock. To save his mom. To make it back home for the birth of Little Bit.
Samantha A Cole has once again written a book with such emotion! You feel for the characters. To fear the possibility of missing the birth of your own child, of letting your love down, and to top it off, making sure your mission doesn’t go FUBAR. Life really does like to throw you curveballs.
Ian and Angie have a baby!
I absolutely loved this chapter of Trident Security and Bossman Ian Sawyer! His Angel is pregnant and they are expecting their “little bit” at any time, of course then IAN gets a call and it’s all hands on deck. Both Teams and all the others as well. Samantha A.Cole has created a wonderful world where these characters represent honor and integrity above all. Of course they rag on each other a lot but The underlining love and respect they have for the people in their world is always shining through! This is edge of the chair excitement, laughter and drama all in one!
This story shows family love, be it blood related or working or serving together for years. Ian being torn about going to rescue his mom but leaving his pregnant wife who is ready to give birth any minute, how everyone works together be it Alpha or Omega Teams, helping with finding Marie, or Kristen and the team wives helping Angie this story had me crying it was beautifully written.
