Entertaining but not very useful
I bought this book with the hopes that it would give me some tips to help prevent future injury after I recover from my current one (skateboarding induced). While Soma and the people giving personal accounts he has in this book seem like cool people, they really don’t offer much in the way of actionable advice beyond drink water, eat healthy, and stretch. Providing some actual specifics in these areas would be nice. All of the medical and nutritional advise is unsourced as well, which makes it hard to evaluate. Bottom line, the advise in this book is too vague to be of use (other than making ABC’s with your ankle every day, but that’s pretty common knowledge).
