What if the monsters of the world are not hiding under your bed?

What if they were the ones tucking you in at night with a bone-chilling grin?

Safety is an illusion people build in their minds.

Then he wrecks me in the most absolute way.

He claims me. Owns me.

Steals my breath. Setting my soul aflame.

He's a disease I can't purge.

But he doesn't know who I really am —

Do I even know?
