A bit disappointed....

I really enjoyed this series, so I was pretty anxious to continue the story. I pre-ordered this book awhile back, and waited awhile to actually read it after it downloaded, just because I knew I'd have to wait that much longer for another one once I finished it. That being said, I was pretty disappointed with this book, and even more so upon the implication that this was the final installment in the series. It lacked depth, and felt a bit rushed in an attempt to tidy everything up. I feel as if areas were left unexplored and questions unanswered. I would have liked more background on the whole Talia/Vanessa/Lucien angle, as well as more on the relationship between Melody and Liam, as well as Aiden and Meredith... the "meat" of those relationships felt excluded from the story. The information regarding Faye & Shore Lake read like an afterthought, and I really was hoping for more based on my enjoyment of the previous books. All in all, it was a decent read because I was invested in the characters, but it was rushed and didn't really feel complete.
