Tracks in the Snow

Alex Fossor had a good thing going, a beautiful girl, a life off the grid, and a clan of hedge witches who kept the spark of magic alive in the modern age. But that all ended when they learned he was a necromancer.

Drifting in a vaguely familiar city, Alex must choose which path to take. But when he spots a stranger on a train with a sinister package, his morbid curiosity is piqued. Trusting in his magic, he is drawn into the depths of the city where a sanctuary of cursed souls feed on the scraps humanity leaves behind.

In his search for a place to belong, Alex pledges to improve their lot and quickly runs afoul with the city's criminal underworld. Outwitting the threats before him means embracing his dark side, but will he prove to be too dangerous even for a band of deathly ghouls?
