Publisher Description

Aron Parker is one of the best players in professional baseball. Following in his father's footsteps, his entire life revolves around the game. Opponents call him cocky, and they aren't wrong, but no one knows the driving force behind his arrogance.

Until he has to play nice with his enemy.

Drew Rockland is the epitome of calm and collected on the mound. As a veteran player, he knows what it takes to pitch under pressure while keeping his emotions in check.

Until he faces Aron and loses his cool.

Aron's showboating and Drew's old-school ballplayer demeanor instantly puts them at odds, resulting in an all-out brawl on the field and a suspension. After the fight, all should have been forgotten, but an unexpected trade places them on the same team … and in the same apartment.

Off the field, there is no one to pull them apart ...

But maybe they prefer it that way.

Traded is a MM enemies-to-lovers sports romance with first times and secret hook-ups that will leave you begging for more. And good thing, since this is book 1 in a duet and their story will conclude in book 2.

Different than my usual

M/M is totally not my usual read. But since this is from one of my go-to authors, I gave it a try. It’s a good romance, even though it’s not something that I would normally read.
I’m also not a fan of the enemies-to-lovers trope, it has to be done right. Fortunately the authors did. They were able to build the tension in other ways other than just “I hate you”. That made a difference.
And since this is the first book of a duet it does leave us on a cliffhanger, so I’m curious to what happens next and how some issues are resolved.

Traded: Off the Field

Traded is book 1 in the Off the Field duet by Kimberly Knight and Rachel Lyn Adams. This is a MM enemy to lover’s sports romance and not my usual genre to read but I love these authors and they didn’t disappoint. Aron and Drew are competitors on different teams who just don't like each other and get into a brawl that gets them both suspended. Circumstances change and they wind up traded to same team and roommates. Tensions mount and things get heated between the two as they try to figure out what these feelings mean. Then we have this cliffhanger to keep us guessing until the next book!
