With so much repetition of felt like the whole short story could have been only 25 pages but you needed it longer so you just repeated the same thing over and over again. And the story with Lily as an FBI agent just isn’t realistic at all. She’d never be an agent if she wasn’t able to compartmentalize her past and focus on the job given to her. Her superiors wouldn’t allow her to call the shots
