Walter and Eunice were on vacation visiting their daughter in South Carolina. One phone call on a quiet Sunday morning changed it all. Tragedy far away back home in Brooklyn, New York. It was their youngest son, George. He was killed in a car accident; leaving their hearts broken. They struggle as they rush home to bury their youngest child. A silent long plane ride for Walter and Eunice as they held on to hope that it might be a mistake; they immediately lean on God and each other. Having the support of their church, neighbors, other family and friends, they manage to get through this as they search for answers. After returning home they are forced to face reality. They immediately take their pain and turn it into a positive. They establish a scholarship fund in their son's name. They move forward working diligently to keep George's memory alive. Their faith in God has got them through it. The smile upon George's face leaves them with hope and comfort. They find peace through the gift of giving to other children in memory of their beloved George.
