Travel Drawings

This book of travel drawings by Australian artist Helen Sanderson was completed while travelling a few years ago.  The trip started in Hong Kong then went on to Dubai to connect to a cruise around the Arabian Peninsula. The boat travelled up the Suez Canal allowing side trips to St Katharine’s monastery and the Valley of the Kings in Egypt and Petra. Then they travelled into the Mediterranean Sea to Crete and a Greek Island and onto Venice.  This was followed by a road trip in Switzerland, a quick visit to London and New York and then on to the very special Yellowstone National Park. These drawings were all drawn directly into a leather bound journal and later coloured with watercolours.
