Travels with MAX to the White House - Student Edition

Another fun and educational journey with MAX in the Travels with MAX® series.


Written with the assistance of the Associate Curator of the White House in 1994, this fun and educational book has been modified from the original edition to conform to digital format. Available with a Teacher's Guide, Travels with MAX participates in Apple's Volume Purchase Program that allows educational institutions to purchase MAX's books at a discount and distribute to schools and teachers.


MAX, a famous author and V.I.K. (Very Important Koala), travels from Australia to the White House. Recommended for ages 7-9, this multi-touch book teaches children about the founding of America and the history of the White House. Children tour rooms in both the East and West Wings, learn about the President's roles and responsibilities, enjoy fun facts about Presidents and kids who have lived in the White House, and more!


Engaging illustrations, easy-to-read text, fun, educational interactive activities and silly sound effects enable kids to experience the joys and rewards of reading, learning and laughing.
