Short and sweet
Laura does a great job of keeping the reader hanging and successfully feeds off of our enthusiasm for fantasy novels.
However, her interactions with characters and lack of any robust character development make this series a fast but forgettable read.
I wish she had taken more time to give me a reason to love the main character other than the normal “I don’t really want this but have god like powers so I’m it”
