"Excellent. Excellent, Miss Martinez. So far we are on very good terms. We will discuss your tardiness later but for now, let's get through the paperwork."
Natalie was more than happy to sign the contracts. There were a few of them, one for the payment amount, one for an independent contractor, and a liability waiver. By the time they got to the main contract that discussed the machinery use and everything else in more detail, Natalie's head was swirling with how lucky she was to have gotten in on this opportunity and how much money she was going to make.
The independent contractor contract had made it clear that he would be hiring her on a regular basis. She almost drooled thinking of all the money she would make. She didn't even bother to read the last contract as she signed it. She just wanted to get started and to start earning.
"Very good, Miss Martinez, let's get started then shall we?" Mr. Thomas looked satisfied as he smiled and put the paperwork in a folder with Natalie's name. As he did that, he took another one out, handing it to Natalie. "Your time has now started. Before we introduce you to the machinery, we need you to fill out this detailed health history and background for our records.”
