A great magical premise
Well crafted stories of a young witch in self discovery within a magical world that is expressed differently across different cultures. Could not put this series down!

I love this book series.
Triumph of chaos
I enjoyed reading the series at the beginning but this was sort of a disappointment. Darlena just moves on from the chaos of trying to fight the red gods but doesn’t actually get around to doing it. We also never find out what happened to the red gods when she went against the queen of witches and took down a mountain. In my opinion the book should have been longer explaining the last red witch, and the fight against the red gods. That or write another book about what happens. I think that people would also enjoy reading masons story of his growing up.
