Tumbling Downs

Books today seem to miss the warmness of Beatrice Potter, the old world charm of Wind in The Willows.
Tumbling Downs has been read to two grades of children in two different schools, years 3/4 & 5/6. The response amazed me.
I thought theyd be bored as Vampires, and other nasties are the norm. Tumbling Downs has humour, adventure and intrigue.
At no time did I think Tumbling Downs would go as far as it is.
I really didnt think children would be interested but thanks to two teachers who gave me the opportunity, here we are.
