Incredible detail..
As a hard core Beatles fan,I'd thought I'd just about read it all.
No so.
Mark Lewisohn's Tune In incorporates a level of detail unseen or unheard of in any other book I've ever read about the early years of The Beatles.
Who knew that for a while they were "****** 3" ?
( I won't give it away).
A must for any serious fan.
I can't wait for the next book...
Excellent!
Very nuanced-the author did a great job with filling in the gaps of the story of the greatest rock band in the world - in addition, you really feel as a bystander...actually transported THERE..! Can't wait for Vol 2 - go man go!
A blast! Didn't want it to end!
Loved the in-depth look at the pre-formative years and the formative years. Well-written, will recommend.
