Resounding across the land, the trumpet calls signal the beginning of the long-awaited Tremendum; Ecclessites and Carnalians alike hone their skills to prepare for the final battle. But as Ecclessites gather their vastly outnumbered forces against the warriors of the empire, many will find that the courage and hope they once had is fading.

As the skies darken, Bonu gathers Ecclessite forces in preparation for the final battle; Artka finds himself surrounded by daggers; and Saygus works on a secret objective. Meanwhile, Hod-ya plans a coronation sinister enough to plunge the planet into eternal darkness.

Will kingsmen who hide in Cosmopolis’ midst be able to evade discovery by Carnalian forces? Will Ecclessite forces turn their backs on King Elyon and Prince Logon Xychirion and succumb to temptation? Or will some find faith even in the midst of darkness?
