I lived in the dark for three years. My whole world revolved around the whims and happiness of three men. It was just a trip into the forbidden. A way out of a bad situation and forward into nothingness.
Quin, with his easy smile and charming good looks. He was always there for me... Until he wasn't.
Smith, and his dispassionate attention. He was never there for me and he never regretted it.
Bric, the one who listened, but only to himself. Self-absorbed, self-obsessed, and self-serving. He was never the one I wanted.
And now he might be the only one I have left.
It was good while it lasted, I guess. But it could've been so much more. It could've been so much better.
And that's why I'm turning back.
Also spectacular !
“The game” continues!
A great storyline and an interesting look at the dynamics behind “the game” and how all four characters feel about continuing their mutually satisfying sexual experiment. I liked the author’s take on love and familial ties when explored through unconventional families.
The only thing not included in this book is friction. And you're going to need that!
JA Huss is killing it with this series. It was so fun spending more time with my favorite quad... er tri.
We pick up a year after book one ends(if you don't know what I'm talking about find Taking Turns and start there). I had so many question and a lot get answered. For awhile I *may* have been rooting for the wrong guy. I wasn't.
Huss gives us everything we need in this story. I love Smith, Quin and Bric. They are a team. Rochelle os finally back and we get some answers.
I am so excited for book three I can't stand it. I can hardly wait to see what Huss has up her sleeve!
