Tweets from Space

The Dutch ESA astronaut André Kuipers was successfully launched December 2011 to the International Space Station (ISS). On July 1, 2012 after 193 days in space and a heavy landing he came back safely on the steppe of Kazakhstan. This multimedia book with a lot of beautiful pictures, made and tweeted by André Kuipers himself also, is combined with film material and 3D models and puts André Kuipers and this ESA space mission in a broader perspective. It gives more background information about the spaceflights from the past with the Apollo, Skylab and of course the Space Shuttle. His personal goal was to involve as much people as possible in this mission and to share that period of his life in pictures. And he sure did!

This is the international edition of the original Dutch version which is downloaded 2.500 times during the first year.
