Publisher Description
I’m trapped in the Uber ride from hell with the most despicable man on the planet.
He might be something to look at, but he’s soaking wet, ornery and has an attitude I don’t appreciate. I’m willing to overlook the flaws to be civil and the bigger person, but he has the gall to suggest his interview for some boob job fellowship is more important than my court case. Some nerve, right? I can’t be rid him fast enough.
It’s twenty minutes of my life. I’m a public defender so I can certainly handle him. Twenty little minutes and I’ll never see him again as long as I live.
Yeah, right.
Apparently, fate hates me.

Love or Hate...
Twisted Fate is the third in the Love and Other Disasters series. While I have not read all of the series yet, I can say that Twisted Fate can definitely be read as a stand-alone. And, I can't wait to go back and read the first two novels! What starts out as an Uber ride from Hell, turns into so much more.
Fleur, having been hurt one too many times, vows to focus on work, not men. On her way to court, she uses Uber ride share. Not wanting to get into trouble with her boss, Fleur makes a short stop for an emergency copy job. In doing so, she delays the pick up of Jace. Jace, not realizing he had chosen ride share, can't figure out what's taking Uber so long, they're 15min late. During the wait, the rain picks up, his umbrella breaks, and he's totally soaked. When Uber finally arrives, he's soaked, angry, and extremely late to his interview. He tries to persuade Fleur to let the driver drop him off first, but she believes her job is more important than his interview. Hate is immediate between them....
After a day that goes from bad to worse, Jace meets up with his friends at the local bar.....where he runs into Fleur or "Red" as he likes to taunt her with. They're snarky, mean, sassy to each other, but it only seems to fuel the fire that burns between them. Sparring turns into kissing...GAME ON!
A game of cat and mouse, a battle of wills.....This novel is COMBUSTIBLE, sassy, intelligent, and sweet. Insta-love at its best! I loved, loved, loved Jace and Fleur! Thank goodness for good friends willing to step in and knock their heads together! It's a quick, but brilliant read. I read a gifted copy and all opinions stated are my own.
