Better than the first
This book earns a 3.5… rounded up to 4 stars from me, an improvement from the first book. My motivation to read it comes from being invested in the friends' group. Sure, Rhys is undeniably attractive, but his character leans heavily on the "I'll burn the world down for you" without entirely doing anything but growl and glare. Despite that, I found the storyline engaging enough to stick with it. The multitude of events that unfolded made me feel like I went through a lot with the characters.
