TWO BOYS AND A GRAVE

Austin did not want to move from New York to a small town in Iowa. The farm was boring. There was no neighborhood kids to play with. He missed his best friend back in New York. One rainy day Austin was sulking in his bedroom when he noticed a loose floor board. He goes over, pulls and the board comes up easily. Reaching way back in his first gers touch something and he slowly pulls it out. It is a match box . He pulls the draw open. All folded up is a old yellow price of paper. He carefully unfolds it. As he reads it a shiver runs down his back. He reads it out loud: WE ARE SORRY WE  KILLED OLD JACK. TROY HELPED ME BURY HIM BEHIND THE BARN BY THE OAK TREE. Signed A.H.
