I was simply no match for Devereux Laurent.

Boring
Started off ok but quickly devolved into repetition. Almost no plot. Basically “he wants her, will she give in” and then “she gave in will they stay together.” Not much else. Characters are “cutesy” but have no depth. I’ve read other books by this author that are much better. Skip this one.
