Running toward danger is about to become Rosie's full-time job.
When a grizzled stranger crashes into her life and lifts the concealment that has marred her face since childhood, Rosie Avalon leaves everything she knows behind. Delightful
This book was a delightful read. The protagonist is funny, charming, and strong. It’s a good series for teen girls because Rosie has such a sense of who she is and her self worth, which is not often the case in teen fiction. I was especially and happily surprised that the story is told without any of the filthy language that is so popular in books these days. Seriously, not one cuss word, and I’m starting on the third book. The author proves that a good story can be told without nasty language. The only drawback, as another reviewer has mentioned, is that the series does go on and on. That seems to be a trend these days. Authors need to take note...you CAN give your story an ending. Some of us don’t really appreciate a never ending saga.
Worth the read
Throughly enjoyed the book. It keep you entertained, wanting more.
Yikes!
I have read some pretty bad free books that you just have to stop reading before the first chapter is over but this train wreck-wow- I could not stop reading. Completely fascinated by how truly awful this was, could not believe it could get any worse but, tada it did! If the author has enough balls to put this disaster out there then I have enough guts to write this review, holy snikes! A fourth grader telling a tale to second graders (because third graders are a little to sophisticated and will notice nothing makes sense) using high school vocabulary and middle school romance. If that is what this author set out to do then she hit it out of the ballpark.
