Not what I was expecting!!
Probably my mistake, I saw a new book of Uthred and instantly bought it without further research into it. Definitely not what I was expecting! Cornwel is my favorite author, I have read all his books many times over! But this one in particular, for the first time in all his books, I didn’t like it.
Uhtred’s Feast
Rather nice with short parts like the Uhtred series but very short and stuffed with recipes from 1000 years before clean water and refrigeration. Doubt I’ll try the recipes though it was interesting to read about salting your own fresh bloody carcasses.
A cookbook?
I should have read the fine print. Not what I expected. But Cornwall is brilliant.
