Ultimate Sacrifice is an enjoyable, emotional and fast-paced book. Austin and Zoey's story is the first book in the Men Of Courage series and they are the perfect couple to kick this series off with. It's a beautiful friends to lovers story and their attraction was undeniable.
Once I started Men of Courage I couldn't put it down. Both characters are heroes in their own right. Austin is a firefighter who not only was faced with tragedy but is still in search for an arsonist reeking havoc in the city. I loved him so much as he is a courageous, good natured, protector and down to earth gentleman. I found that to be attractive and sexy as hell. Zoey is also amazing, warm, loving, a wonderful caretaker and nurturer. The love and compassion she had for her disabled sister was everything and really tugged at my heart strings. The chemistry was off the charts hot and their sexy times were unforgettable. Ultimate Sacrifice has great character development, the plot was consistent and engaging.
I'm looking forward to reading the next book in this series and I definitely recommend reading Ultimate Sacrifice.
