Publisher Description
Author Chris Waits was Ted Kaczynski's friend and neighbor in the mountains of Lincoln, Montana, for 25 years. ABC News called Waits the "Man who knew him best." That unique knowledge cast Waits as a key figure in the FBI's relentless investigation, a role that provided the author with volumes of Kaczynski's personal journals that illuminate--for the first time--the lifestyle, crimes and twisted logic of the notorious Unabomber.
Customer Reviews
Excellent portrait of Ted Kacynski,s time in Montana
This book explores the life of the Unabomber during his time in Lincoln Montana. It does not pretend to live inside the Unabomber,s head, but through evidence and encounters with The Author.
It describes in great detail the weather, terrain, and life Ted most likely lived. It also uses many of Ted,s writing to demonstrate their relations to Unabomber events and locations of secret cabins and caches.
I found that I learned a lot about this hermit and life in the Montana wilderness. I recommend this book to anyone that would like to look into what possible if any explanation of the Unabomber,s life.
