Selfish Tatiana
I did not like her. The story was just ok for me. Mostly because I did not like Tatiana. I dismissed some of her behavior because of her father's death. I'm assuming that's what fueled her prejudices against her people. Although it was ridiculous to me. Her father was killed because of the prejudices of the Purists. She harbored those same prejudices against her people. The story did not explain why she was against the mating, or at least to my satisfaction to warrant her attitude. Tatiana was just selfish. Blaming everyone until the end when realization hit. Matt was dead because she selfishly pulled him in. She selfishly chose to pursue a sexual relationship with Dominic, knowing the possibility of the mating. Selfishly put others in danger because she chose to separate herself from her people and did not understand the life and the dangers involved. Actually chose not to know. I figured out who the traitor was long before the reveal. I did like the other characters. Lots of surprises towards the end, which I enjoyed. The ending of the story was abrupt. Incomplete to me. May consider another book.
